Ross Levinsohn, whose deal-spotting savvy led him to convince News Corp. Chief Executive Rupert Murdoch to buy popular Internet social network MySpace and games Web network IGN Entertainment, will leave to pursue other ventures, he said in a statement.Uh huh. I wondered what that was about.
Now I know. MySpace is up to it's ass in lawsuits.
The suit, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, called MySpacea "vast virtual warehouse" of pirated copyrighted material that belongs to blockbuster artists such as Mariah Carey and U2. UMG also claimed in the filing that "no intellectual property is safe" from the alleged copyright infringement.
Friday- I wondered who would buy and sell the O.J. Simpson book. I was hoping no one would.
I got my wish!
Following days of controversy, News Corp. has canceled plans to sell O.J. Simpson’s book If I Did It and has canceled a two-part Fox broadcast channel special scheduled to air Nov. 27 and 29.

i just saw a clip taken about 2 years ago where he is out partying and drinking and says he will do anything or say anything as long as he gets money for it..said no ink is bad ink...creepy bastid..wouldn't it be wonderful if someone just took him out?
i wonder if any aliens are monitoring our planet? maybe this is all a very cunning human plan to confuse the aliens.
"ill-considered project" now that's an understated term.
Each time I read/hear that title "If I Did It" it pisses me off. The man has no fucking shame and I guess why would he huh.
I've been hearing about the OJ book"If I did it"..If he did it he could just go ahead and shout it from the rooftops if he wanted, what with the prohibitions of double jeopardy and all.
What could be the worst that could happen? We might hold him in less esteem than we already do?
I was pleasantly surprised that they decided to pull the plug on the book and show - it got enough bad press and feedback yay! Of course, it's still unclear on his advance, but at least this crap isn't hitting bookshelves or airwaves.
Rupert Murdoch - yeah, not going there...
OJ... geess can we just get him out of the news for ever?
