Here's a brief summary of Silly Putty's origin , along with a maddeningly incomplete recipe for making it at home.
I will endeavor to learn more- I'm starting to think that homeade Silly Putty might just be the perfect Holiday Spackle for my holey Gift List...anyway...
go ahead and read the recipe. It's quite brief.
At it's end, you will undoubtably ask yourself the same questionsthat I did: "What slime procedure above?"
That is the sort of unanswered question that causes insomnia, so I decided to do some webwork-aha!
Here is the slime procedure.
It's a very safe, simple experiment; not sure where to get the ingredients though.
Oh, nevermind. Here is where. Kinda pricey though.
Here's the skinny:

Sometimes I wish I had children. I like the idea of using a rainy afternoon to teach the kids how to make slime- the chance to colorize the slime would be a great way to introduce the concept of primary colors, shades, hues, pigments etc...and it would be fun because it involves slime.
( Note:I do not support the views of "borate ion")
My favorite slime is Green and is available on video.
What's your favorite slime?

Marc Summers.
Marc Summers is slime? That's ooze to me.
I've tried a couple different 'chemistry' experiments at home to make stuff with my boys. Unfortunately, I must not be a mad scientist because the things don't usually turn out the way they're supposed to. The only consistent thing is that it's a nightmare to clean up heh.
heh heh heh
