But anyone who likes pasta knows that 1.5 ounces doesn't go very far at all when it comes to spaghetti-and spaghetti sauce isn't something that fits neatly into a tiny envelope.
What is in this stuff ? Primarily sugar, salt and modified starch, three things that I don't put into spaghetti sauce. Well, maybe some salt...but not as a main ingredient.
A pound of these packeted atrocities would cost over two dollars and fifty cents. That's a lot to pay for a pound of salt.

Sugar, salt, and starch? That's cheap ketchup without the toma....oh! I get it. It's like the Cheshire cat.
he's right its ketchup...
those aren't the best lookin tomatoes i've ever seen either.
in fact i might even turn them down if they were free.
I agree, but this single Mom has resorted to jarred spaghetti sauce on many occassions.
Cheap AND nasty!
CG- It's instant ketchup- just add tomato.
YG- She's right.
BP- The good ones are almost $4 a lb. this winter.
SAW- This single bachelor has done the same thing, for sure...but a packet? Egad! Not even while drunk...
Angel- Cheap and nasty...wow, that sounds a lot like my past.
